North shore Krewe meets at Books-a-Million for a 8:45 a.m. departure to meet the BR Krewe at Target.

BR Krewe and Northshore Krewe meet at Target parking lot off of Millerville on I12 at 9:45 for a 10 a.m. departure. 

LFT Krewe meets everyone at 11:00 AM at McDonalds in Henderson just south of Exit 115 on I-10.

We will visit scenic Jefferson Island. See:  http://www.ripvanwinklegardens.com/Cafe-Jefferson.html for all things Jefferson Island, menus, Tour fees, B&B rental info, gardens, etc.  No fee for entry to Cafe Jefferson where  we will have  lunch. Options for participants include touring  the Gardens and the Home or not.

Those opting for the Garden/House Tour will have the route info which will get everyone back to civilization.  More later.

1. 11:00 AM : Meet at McDonalds at Henderson Exit # 115 on I-10 (McD's is SOUTH of I-10)

2. Exit right from rear parking lot of McDonalds onto HWY 352 heading East to Basin Levee road

3. Turn right at STOP sign , heading South on Levee Road

4. Turn right onto Hwy 3083 at ONE LANE bridge heading to Coteau Holmes

5. Turn left onto Hwy 679 and proceed straight ahead onto Hwy 345

6. Turn left onto Hwy 86 , proceed through Loreauville and into New Iberia.

7. Cross the Bayou Teche and turn right onto Hwy 182 (ONE WAY STREET – W. Main St.)

8. Move to the left lane and turn left onto Hopkins Street (HWY 675)

9. Turn right onto Rip Van Winkle Road to Jefferson Island (CAUTION: hugh speed lumps)

LUNCH at Cafe Jefferson (Scattered Outdoor seating overlooking Lake Peigneur)

1. Turn left immediately after exiting Jefferson Island gates onto rural road

2. Turn left onto Hwy 675 (Jefferson Island Road – later becomes Hopkins Street)

3. Cross Hwy 182 (one way streets: W. St. Peter and W Main Streets) to Jane Street

4. Turn left onto Jane Street and proceed straight ahead to HWY 31

5. Continue North on Hwy 31 and Turn right onto Hwy 92 (Smede Hwy)

6. Turn left onto Hwy 347 (Cemetery Hwy, which becomes E. Bridge St, then Resweber in St. Martinville) (left on Cemetery Hwy, right on E. Bridge St., left on Resweber – all Hwy 347)

7. Turn right onto Hwy 3039 in Parks (caution: twisty road)

8. Turn left onto Nina Road (Hwy 349)

9. Turn right onto Hwy 347 (Grand Point Hwy)

10. Turn right into McDonald's parking lot
